Little General Stores Donates $10,000 to Toys for Tots of Southern West Virginia

PINEVILLE, W.Va. — Members of the Little General Stores team recently gathered at the Pineville store to present a check for $10,000 to the Toys for Tots of Southern West Virginia.

The contribution reflects Little General Stores’ ongoing commitment to giving back to communities in need, especially in Wyoming County and southern West Virginia. Little General understands the importance of neighbors supporting neighbors, especially during the holidays when many families face increased financial challenges.

“Toys for Tots does such important work to make sure children in our communities have something special to look forward to during the holidays,” said Greg Darby, president of Little General Stores. “We believe it’s important to give back and help those who need it most. We’re proud to support Toys for Tots of Southern West Virginia and the difference they make for children and families right here at home.”

Toys for Tots works to deliver new toys to children whose families may otherwise struggle to provide gifts during the holidays. Support from local businesses and community partners helps the organization continue its mission and reach more children throughout Southern West Virginia.

For Little General Stores, the donation is another way to demonstrate its dedication to the people and communities that have supported the company throughout its history. From supporting local organizations to helping families in times of need, Little General remains committed to making a positive difference across the Mountain State.
