Little General Stores Celebrates 50 Years of Serving West Virginia
Little General Stores is proud to announce its 50th anniversary of providing convenience, community, and quality service throughout West Virginia and neighboring states.
Earlier this month, a few members of the Little General Team attended the Annual Joz Noz Kidz Legends Weekend benefitting WVU Medicine Children’s.
The weekend kicked off with former WVU football player Brian Jozwiak and other former players “roasting” Hall of Fame Head Coach Don Nehlen at Tropics Restaurant & Bar near Cheat Lake in Morgantown. On Thursday alone, over $24,000 was raised at the golf tournament’s kickoff event, according to Blue and Gold Nation.
On Friday, the Little General Team hit the greens with the WVU Legend himself – Major Harris! As a part of LG’s contribution, we donated tumblers that were gifted to all of the golf participants. The weekend wrapped up with a bowling outing with the legends – a great ending to an amazing weekend!
At Little General, giving back to our community has always been a core value. We are so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of organizations like Joz Noz Kidz to help make a difference in the lives of others. A big shout out to everyone involved in the weekend and the organizers who helped make this all happen!
