Driving down the country roads of West Virginia is the perfect way to enjoy the start of summer. If you’re planning a summer road trip, here is a quick checklist of the essentials to stock up on at your local Little General Store before you hit the road:
☐ Snacks
A road trip is not complete without snacks. Stock up on chips, candy, trail mix, and other snacks that will keep you fueled up.
☐ Drinks
Bring along plenty of water and drinks to keep you hydrated.
☐ Sunscreen
You’ll need it to protect your skin from the sun.
☐ Bug spray
Bugs can be a nuisance, so make sure to pack some bug spray to keep them at bay.
☐ First Aid Kit
You never know when you might need it, so it’s always a good idea to pack a first aid kit.
☐ Emergency Phone Charger
You don’t want your phone to die while you’re on the road. Grab an extra charger at your local Little General store before heading out.
☐ Maps
A good old-fashioned map can come in handy on a road trip, especially with some parts of West Virginia having such little cell service. A map is always something handy to have in your car.
