Little General Stores Supports Children’s Home Society of WV
In June 2025, we attended the grand opening of the new Matthew Pack Children’s Home in Beckley.
Giving back to the community and supporting important causes has always been a main focus for Little General Stores. That’s why this year we are once again partnering with the Bob Huggins Fish Fry!
The 2022 Bob Huggins Fish Fry will be hosted at Mylan Park in Morgantown, West Virginia on January 27 at 5:30 p.m., featuring the legend himself, Coach Bob Huggins, and special guest former NBA Player Charles Barkley!
Founded in honor of his mother, Norma Mae Huggins, Bob Huggins’ annual Fish Fry event has become a major philanthropic event each year. Over the years, sponsors and attendees have raised more than $8 million — all of which directly supports the Norma Mae Huggins Endowment at the WVU Cancer Institute and Remember the Miners Flagship Scholars Program.
This year’s fish fry will be prepared by the Boston Beanery and features beer battered fried cod, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, broccoli salad (Coach Huggins’ favorite!) and Southern coleslaw.
