Annual LG Scholarship Program Accepting Applications Through March 1, 2021

At Little General Stores, we consider an investment in West Virginian students’ education an investment in our community’s future. That’s why each year, through our LG Scholarship Program, we offer financial support to 20 or more West Virginia high school seniors as they pursue their post-graduate goals.

Throughout the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, high school seniors across the Mountain State have demonstrated their aptitude and determination both in and out of their classrooms as they learned to navigate unprecedented circumstances. These students illustrated the very resilience our state takes great pride in as they worked toward their next phase of life, whether they set their sights on entering the workforce or enrolling in vocational, college or university programs. We think that should be rewarded, and through this program, we aim to do just that.

At least 20 West Virginian students will receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship to assist them in their educational endeavors.

Students planning to attend a one-year, two-year or four-year program are eligible for this scholarship.
