Pepperoni Roll (Pockets!) from West Virginia

Of course, everyone thinks they have the best pepperoni roll. Many at most they know where to get the perfect one. Today we’re going to list how you can make the top pepperoni roll, or at least attempt to! If you’re still craving a snack, check out our History of Jerky blog!

What Kind of Pepperoni Roll Are We Thinking Here?

It all starts with what kind of pepperoni roll you’re going for. My favorite is ones that are doused in buttery goodness, and actually have not only pepperoni roll, but a little ham too! I know, I know, that’s blasphemous for some, but give it a go sometime and you’ll come around. But that’s not a pepperoni roll! You’re right, but it’s definitely delicious.

We’re just going to do the simple, basic pepperoni roll today. It’ll be a little more upscale then back when you just bit into a stick of pepperoni and then literally a roll. These are going to be a little bit more than mushing a hot dog roll around 293497 pepperonis. These are going to be tasty AND EASY!

Get Your Goods.

You will need:

  • A muffin tin. (You heard me!)
  • Crescent rolls. (You can find these on the cheap.)
  • Your pepperonis.
  • Your cheese.

We’re not putting ham in this recipe, although you easily can! If you want, just grab a slice of ham, you can use lunchmeat, and line the crescent roll in the tin.

Let’s Get to Building Them!

  • If you opted out of ham, line your muffin tin with the crescent rolls, then line that with pepperoni, and sprinkle your cheese inside.
  • Close up the little Pepperoni pockets, and pop them in the oven.
  • Cook to the directions of the crescent rolls.
  • If you’re feeling extra crazy, sprinkle some cheese on top of them before they are finished cooking to add a little more!

And Voila!
